Anyway, I vowed to become more jewellery-aware and maybe even start to accumulate some great stuff! Starting very low-key is the only option at the moment (meaning Ebay, car boots and charity stores hunting) but before I do that, here's a little something I'm dying to share: Metaux Melanges collection curated by the one and only Mo Clancy.
The collection (available soon from Barney's and directly from Nomade Exquis) is a modernist mix of over seventy-five pieces of vintage jewellery from the late 1950's through the late 1970's. The works were assembled over eighteen months by Mo Clancy and ivolve such names as Robert Larin, Guy Vidal, De Passille-Sylvestre, Jorma Laine and Pentti Sarpaneva.
'Metaux Malanges explores the workmanship of the craftspeople who contributed to these movements, with shapes, materials and intentions appreciated as a true form.'
